My Style Post: Pastel Aztecs

Ever wondered what tribal symbols looked painted in pastels? My Style Post.

I’ve learned that the quickest way to be fashionable sometimes is to keep things simple, and for me that would have to be with print dress. Wearing a print dress take all the hard work of putting an entire outfit together, so I decided to wear this summer dress that I usually wear as a shirt.

My Style Post: Pastel Aztecs

(Couldn’t find a similar dress, so this is an alternative)

Since the print is so busy, I paired it with a skinny belt to make a waist and a neutral wedge to keep the focus on the print in the dress.

What do you think of the Print Dress I’m wearing? How do you properly wear a printed dress?

My Style: Black and Gold Tribal

I had the opportunity to cover a fashion show at a trendy boutique named Duo Houston for Fashionably Houston a week or two ago and decided to stay with the Tribal trend I’ve been wearing lately. What I love most about the Tribal Trend is that to me it adds more character to my personal style. (My hair can’t be the ONLY funky accessory I rock)

Since I was rocking a 2-day old Twist-Out from my Hair Date Post, I knew the perfect base piece for my outfit would be the Romper. I just accessorized my LBR (Little Black Romper) with antique polished accessories to enhance focus on my shoes and romper and grabbed a colorful clutch to lighten my outfit.

I also got the chance to mingle with my fellow Houston Fashion Blogger friends and meet the infamous Katy of Sugarlaws.
