Even though the weather in Houston has been a little on the Bipolar side, I have challenged myself to always put my best outfit forward even for a day of leisure.
In these summer heat waves, I tend to wear more loose and light fabrics to allow for my skin to breath. So for this Style Post, I decided to paired a animal print tunic with a relaxed pair of pants. I truly hate to wear animal prints but I decided to take a risk in my usual style!
Check out My Style pics:

Tunic: Forever 21
Pants: H&M

What do you think of the animal print trend in today’s style post? How do you incorporate animal prints in your style?

Summer is officially here! What better way to celebrate than to feature a style post on two of the hottest on trend colors for the season, Mint and Coral! Honestly speaking I usually wear darker shades but decided to try lighter colors for the beautiful weather I get to enjoy all Summer long.
Mint and Coral are those shades that pair great with light neutral colors like white and taupe. These on trend colors can be found in every article of clothing, accessories, and shoes, but choose your shade wisely with your skin tone. All colors are not created equal to every skin tone.

Hope your weekend was as eventful as mine was, but as usual back to the Monday-Friday work grind!
To start this week off, I was able to attend the New For The Night Launch Party at Saint Genevieve in West Ave last Tuesday. If you don’t know anything about New For The Night, you surely have been hiding under a rock of some sort. The store allows you to borrow designer clothing and accessories for the fraction of the cost but the best thing about it is that you actually get to go into the store to try on the garments before you rent it! How cool is that?? I love it because some clothes just look better on the hanger.
I actually decided to wear a dress from the store to show support and to look great for the party. The party was fashionable as always and I actually got to meet the owner, Brittnay Sakowitz. With the flowing of bubbly and delectable hor d’oeuvres, the launch party was surely a success.

I had the opportunity to cover a fashion show at a trendy boutique named Duo Houston for Fashionably Houston a week or two ago and decided to stay with the Tribal trend I’ve been wearing lately. What I love most about the Tribal Trend is that to me it adds more character to my personal style. (My hair can’t be the ONLY funky accessory I rock)
Since I was rocking a 2-day old Twist-Out from my Hair Date Post, I knew the perfect base piece for my outfit would be the Romper. I just accessorized my LBR (Little Black Romper) with antique polished accessories to enhance focus on my shoes and romper and grabbed a colorful clutch to lighten my outfit.

I also got the chance to mingle with my fellow Houston Fashion Blogger friends and meet the infamous Katy of Sugarlaws.

I had the opportunity to attend one of the BIGGEST fashion events here in Houston called Simon Fashion Now (Event Coverage Post), sponsored by Cadillac Houston. It was an event full of fashionable movers and shakers here in Houston, as well as this Spring’s Must-Have Trends.
Since Tribal Prints are on trend for Spring, I decided to wear something that I have always had a fear of wearing, the Bodycon dress. Yeah I know, crazy fear. Paired with a few of my essential pieces, I was able to pull off this trend with full confidence.

Blazer, Bangles, and Earrings - Forever 21 | Dress - Langford Market | Shoes - Aldo | Necklace - Charlotte Russe

Stayed in theme with a nice Tribal necklace! Got it at a steal for less than $3.00.

Earring Trick: Combine two hoop earrings to make it look like you are wearing one.

Combined an assortment of bangles to add a metallic element to the outfit.

Love the Fringe details of these shoes!

The BEST part of the dress, the sheer panel in the back!
I guess it is obvious what my favorite part of the outfit was, what is YOURS?
